I'm glad I'm not the only one who actually enjoys the spreadsheet side of the running life (and appreciates that it's worth the effort to get the fonts and colors and formatting just right). An old mantra from my marathon days is "plan your run and then run your plan". Learning to navigate the constant back-and-forth tension between the plan and reality is part of the joy of the whole endeavor.
